Flames quickly spread at home on Turin Road in Rome

The tall pines surrounding the home also went up in flames.

ROME, N.Y. -- A house was destroyed after a fire broke out in Rome Thursday afternoon.

Just after 2 p.m. a home on Turin Road, just outside of Rome, went up in flames quickly before firefighters got a chance to knock it down.

The tall pines surrounding the home also went up in flames.

There were no injuries, and there is no word on a cause at this time.
