Fire crews kept busy battling Trenton blaze

Multiple fire departments were kept busy battling a house fire in the Town of Trenton Sunday evening.

TRENTON, NY – Multiple fire departments were kept busy battling a house fire in the Town of Trenton Sunday evening.

The fire occurred at 8436 Trenton Falls Road.

When firefighters arrived they could see thick smoke and flames coming from the home.

The fire was quickly knocked down and crews worked on ventilating the smoke and removing valuables from the structure.

Fire officials say nobody was home when it started and there were no injuries fighting the blaze.

The fire is believed to have started in the chimney.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
