MARCY, N.Y. -- One person suffered critical injuries during a house fire in Marcy on Friday evening.
The calls came in just after 6:15 p.m. for a house fire on Benton Road. Stittville and Barneveld fire crews responded.
When NEWSChannel 2 crews arrived on scene and ambulance was taking a victim to a landing site for a Mercy Flight to transport a victim to the hospital. Oneida County Sheriff's tell NEWSChannel 2 that the person was taken to Upstate University Hospital with critical injuries. The other person living at the home was not injured.
The home appears to be a total loss. Benton road has re-opened to traffic.
