MOSCOW, Russia -- We're now learning that both flight recorders have been recovered from the Russian plane that caught fire during an emergency landing in Moscow.
Russian investigators are now eyeing three possible causes for the deadly fire. Those theories being experienced pilots, equipment failure or bad weather.
Those investigators now confirming that 41 of the 78 people on-board died, including two children.
A Russian news agency said one US citizen was among the dead. Several people were seen escaping the jet as it was burning on the runway at Moscow's busiest airport.
Much of the rear of the plane was engulfed in flames. The crew reported trouble, and then returned to Moscow for an emergency landing when it then burst into flames.
The incident remains under investigation this morning.
