COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. – Food and products from local farms can now be purchased online through a website called WhatsGood, according to the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schoharie and Otsego Counties.

Orders can be placed on the website, sourcewhatsgood.com.

Farmers will then fill the orders and bring them to ‘drop sites.’ Customers can then pick their orders up from these sites during designated times.

Several area farmers are already active on the website, but any others looking to start selling online should contact Jim Barber at 607-231-3821 or Jrb248@cornell.edu, or David Cox at 607-437-9794 or dgc23@cornell.edu.

Customers must submit orders by 11 p.m. on Mondays for the following drop site locations:

Schoharie Valley Farms
5605 State Route 30, Schoharie
Customer pick-up: Wednesdays, 12 – 5 p.m.

Tagua Nut Café
509 West Main Street, Cobleskill
Customer pick-up: Wednesdays, 12 – 5 p.m.

The Green Earth Health Market

Orders must be placed Tuesdays by 11 p.m. for the following locations:

Richfield Community Food Co-op

Ambrosia Farms in Bridgewater is also listed on the website as a seller.

The CCE says more farms and drop site locations are expected to be added in the coming weeks after more farmers sign up on the website.

Once users enter their location, it will show all participating farms near that area.
