FRANKFORT, NY – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the village of Frankfort, with the annual Christmas at the Marina celebration.
Hundreds of people took time off from a busy day of shopping to get in the Christmas spirit and spend the evening with family and friends.
Also taking time off from his busy schedule was Santa himself, who helped light the holiday decorations at the marina. Then he met with all the boys and girls to find out what they would like for Christmas.
There was plenty of free hot chocolate and donuts for everybody.
Mayor Richard Adams says the annual event has become quite the family affair.
“Every year we see the same people coming back. Every year it seems to keep growing. It’s a good event for the community. That’s what we’re all about, family oriented events here in Frankfort.”
The evening wrapped up with a spectacular fireworks display for everyone to enjoy.
