ILION – If you have a child’s safety seat that you want to make sure is safe for your child, you can stop by the village of Ilion today to have it checked out.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., parents and caregivers can bring children’s car seats to the Village of Ilion Municipal Building, located at 49 Morgan Street, to get inspected by a National Child Passenger Safety Certified technician. No appointments are necessary.
Those who will be attending the safety seat check are asked to enter the Municipal Building parking lot using the one-way entrance on First Street, next to the Ilion Police Department, across from the post office. Ilion police officers will be on-hand where the safety seat inspections will occur.
If you have questions or you’d like to make an appointment with a CPS technician on a different date, you can call Ilion police at 315-894-9911.
