Poland, N.Y. - Around 11:00PM last night, emergency crews were called to fire on Main Street in Poland. Neighbors say they woke up to what they think were several explosions. When fire crews arrived on scene they found the detached garage fully engulfed in flames.
Poland, Newport, and Barneveld Fire Departments were all at the scene. Stittville and Remsen Fire were also called for mutual aid a while later but turned around as crews had the fire under control and contained to the garage.
There are no reported injuries at this time and crews are still investigating what caused the fire.
