UTICA, N.Y. -- An event is coming up at the Masonic Association of Utica on Friday, Oct. 25. The event, called Hallowine, will benefit the Catholic Charities of Oneida and Madison Counties. The charities run a variety of programs that provide aid to the local community. By supporting the Catholic Charities, individuals are in turn supporting programs that provide community residences for the mentally ill, apartment programs, halfway housing for those in recovery, and emergency community assistance. Additionally, profit will support youth programs at Camp Nazareth and the Catholic Youth Organization's basketball league.
At the event, which will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 251 Genesee St., attendees can participate in craft beer, wine, and food tastings. Food, drinks, and entertainment will all be included with the ticket price.
New to Hallowine this year is a VIP option that will include an additional behind-the-scenes tour of the venue with the Ghost Seekers, a professional group of paranormal investigators specializing in research and investigation across Central New York.
