UTICA, N.Y.- It was a very scary night in downtown Utica! With Halloween coming up, it was time to get spooked!
Handshake City hosted a Haunted-House style experience Saturday night.
Proceeds from the event help the non-profit organization maintain operations during the winter months. Haunted Tours and refreshments were available.
Katie Reilly, the founder of Handshake City says since it’s the last event of the year for the program, they wanted to end their season of events with a bang.
"We have some very creative people, theatrical people part of our group, and we really just love to make a show and it's our first time doing a night event and our first time doing something like this, but it really came together awesome." said Reilly.
There is another Handshake City Halloween event planned for Sunday October 26th. Barks and Boos is happening from 12pm-4pm.
