Richfield Springs, N.Y. - The Wolfe family, owners of Ovaltop Holsteins Dairy Farm and Business in Richfield Springs, has won many awards over the years but this year they've taken home their biggest award yet.

The Wolfe family was notified about two weeks ago by the Klussendorf Association that they are the 10th recipient of the Robert “Whitey” McKown Master Breeder Award.

The international award recognizes a well-managed breeder and herd that has been successful at showing and judging dairy cattle.

The award is a worldwide award and will be presented to The Wolfe family in October at The 52nd annual Wolf Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin.

Ovaltop co-owner Mike Wolfe says this is truly an honor, "Like I said, it’s the Super Bowl of dairy farming."
