HERKIMER, N.Y. - Herkimer senior Tyler Steele has committed to play football at Utica College beginning in the fall, he announced via Twitter, Friday.
Steele is a versatile player, listed as a wide receiver, safety, punt and kick returner during his time with the Magicians
He had 37 receptions for 312 receiving yards in 2019. He was also a big part of the Magicians' ground game, rushing 16 times for 172 yards and had five total touchdowns.
Steele was a first team All-Center State Conference selection for both 2018 and 2019.
He is the latest in the family to suit up for UC after his brother Zach played for the pioneers from 2016 to 2018.
