UTICA, NY - Historic Old St. John’s Church is holding their annual Charity Bazaar this weekend.
Hundreds of people turned out Saturday to see what the bazaar had to offer.
There was plenty of ethnic foods, games, raffles, and theme baskets.
There was also live music and items to commemorate the churches 200th anniversary.
Gail Miller, the bazaar’s chairperson, says the event started with a few card tables in the church’s parking lot, and has grown into what it is today.
“This is all run by our parishioners. All the food is cooked by our parishioners, and they staff the booths for us. It’s a wonderful coming together for our parish.”
Proceeds from the charity bazaar benefit the many outreach programs and services the church provides.
The bazaar continues Sunday from 9 to 5 pm.
