HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. - Senior Rory Richard is having a season for the ages in Golden Knights' girls soccer history and added yet another program record to her name, Wednesday.
In a 4-1 win over Little Falls, Richard scored three goals in order to reach 24 on the season, breaking the Golden Knights' single-season scoring mark, previously at 21.
The feat is made even more remarkable by the fact that her 24 goals have come in just eight games of this shortened fall season. At 7-1, Holland Patent still has four games remaining.
Earlier in this season, Richard scored seven goals in one game to set the program's record for most goals in a single game.
A Sports Express Athlete of the Week, she's also the Knights' all-time goals leader, with 46 in total after Wednesday's performance against Little Falls.
Richard will look to build on her own record on Saturday against West Canada Valley.
