SHERRILL- The house is expected to vote on two articles regarding the impeachment investigation this week, and Congressman Anthony Brindisi is still undecided.
He told NEWSChannel 2 he's trying to make a thoughtful decision and spent the weekend reviewing transcipts, and reading articles on impeachment.
He says he's using his background in law to help make a decision. He said this is probably one of the hardest decisions he's had to make in his career, so he wants to make sure it's right.
"This should be a tough decision for everyone," said the Congressman. "I have been critical of members who have been calling for impeachment since day one, I've been critical of members who have been quick to defend the president," he added. "No one should jump to conclusions on this until you've looked at all the evidence and I hope everyone is going to make a thoughtful decision whether they support impeachment or oppose it."
Brindisi says he'll have an answer before the vote that's expected to take place on Wednesday.
