UTICA, N.Y - On Sunday Morning, just over a hundred gathered at the Masonic Care Community to walk to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
Walkers had the choice of either participating in either the 1-mile walking course or the 3 mile.
Organizers say that the sunny weather really helped bring a positive turnout to this year's walk.
Walkers and those who have the disease said that the support from the community was overwhelming.
"I also have MS. I've been diagnosed for a little over eleven years now. But I'm one of those people where you say "you look so good" and they don't understand my daily struggles. So I'm here and I'm glad to support others. I also facilitate our local support group and we have a great group of people there," said walk Facilitator Marie Rastani.
Both of the walking routes were accessible for scooters, wheelchairs, and users with canes.
