Ilion's water issues are now one step closer to being fixed.
Mayor Brian Lamica says a new, custom water airation system is being shipped today, and is expected to arrive early next week. Crews will be ready to install the new equipment as soon as it arrives.
Ilion residents have been dealing with water issues for years, and right now, the water is yellow and smells.
