Utica, N.Y. - If you ever need a little pick me up or just want to smile a lot, you should head to the annual Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome in Utica.
The 2019 version at Hanna Park outside of Utica City Hall on Sunday brought many smiles to people’s faces.
This year’s keynote speaker was 22 year old Anthony Murad of Utica who told the large crowd he has ben coming to the Buddy Walk since he was little.
This annual event promotes the inclusion, and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome.
The walk is put on by Upstate Cerebral Palsy and money raised helps fund its many programs it offers to those In our area that have Down Syndrome and their families.
