The women's Trailblazer category gains Barbara Buttrick, while the Modern category adds "The Coal Miner's Daughter" Christy Martin, and "The Dutch Destroyer" Lucia Rijker. Other inducted boxers include lightweight champion Frank Erne in the Old Timer category, and Paddy Ryan to the Pioneer category.

Journalists Bernard Fernandez and Thomas Hauser and Promoters Lou DiBella, Kathy Duva, and Dan Goossen comprise the 2020 class of non-participant and observer inductees.
