UTICA, NY – It was “Christmas in July” at “What The Truck” in Canal Park off Leland Avenue Tuesday.
Besides dozens of food truck vendors, there was live music from “Uncle Charlie and the Meatballs.”
Stuff the Bus was also there to remind everybody that –believe it or not – we’re halfway to Christmas.
Those who brought new, unwrapped toys to help stuff the bus will be eligible to win gift certificates to local businesses.
“We are going to be officially starting stuff the bus around mid-November,” says Grant Roser, General Manager of Roser Communications.
“We see no reason why it shouldn’t be going on. We’d like to get all the schools and local businesses involved again to stuff the bus and help the community. Especially in a year like this, I’m sure it will be needed.”
Stuff the bus officials say they still need to work out the details as far as social distancing and the coronavirus are concerned, but say they are determined to make it happen.
