UTICA, N.Y. – The Johnson Park Center is handing out thousands of masks to residents as well as local non-profits to distribute throughout the region.
JCP has more than 1,200 boxes full of masks that come in packages of five.
The masks will be distributed on Thursday, Nov. 19, until 5 p.m., and then on Friday, Nov. 20, from 1 – 5 p.m.
Any non-profits, medical service providers, community outreach groups, churches or food pantries that serve the Mohawk Valley are welcome to come and pick up masks.
Next Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 23 – 24, community members can come pick up masks during food giveaways on the 1400 block of West Street.
Monday’s drive-thru event will be held from 2 – 7:30 p.m., and Tuesday’s walk-up event will be held from 3 – 6 p.m.
