UTICA, N.Y. – The Josh Turner concert originally scheduled for April 3 at the Stanley Theatre in Utica has been postponed.
People with tickets to the event will be notified about a new concert date and a refund process if they are unable to attend the rescheduled event.
Proceeds from the concert benefit The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter.
"It has become clear that hosting this show as scheduled in light of everything we know about the imminent spread of COVID-19 in our state would be irresponsible," said Karen Korotzer, chief executive officer at The Arc, Oneida-Lewis. "Right now, we should all follow the precautions and recommendations set forth by the CDC, our local health departments, and state officials to ensure safety for all, which is our top priority."
