NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – The Zeina family opened a new restaurant in New Hartford Monday, in the plaza across from At Home on Commercial Drive.
The family has operated Zeina’s Café on Varick Street in Utica for more than a decade, and decided to expand with Lafa Mediterranean by Zeina’s.
Lafa offers healthy food in a convenient way, according to owner Elias Zeina.
“The reason we open this was because the way people are eating is changing; they are looking for quicker meals something healthier something really convenient,” he said. “We have online ordering we have Door Dash so we have a delivery service, we have curbside we're making it really easy for people to get their healthy Mediterranean fix not only in Utica but also a new Hartford now.”
Anyone notice our new signage on Commercial Drive today?
Customers can build their own bowls, wraps and salads, adding various toppings and their choice of chicken, steak, lamb or falafel.
The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday. You can also order online here.
