Libertarian candidate for governor, Larry Sharpe visited Utica on Tuesday.
He spoke about why he's running for office and where he stand on several local issues.
Sharpe is one many running for governor. Incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo is challenged by actress Cynthia Nixon, who was endorsed by the Working Families Party, Republican Marc Molinaro and Independent Stephanie Miner, a former mayor of Syracuse. Howie Hawkins previously ran for governor in 2014 and 2010. This year Hawkins is running again on the Green Party line.
