WEDNESDAY, JULY 3
Fireworks will go off at dusk over the lake at Sylvan Beach.
There will be fireworks at 9 p.m. at Erwin Park in Boonville, located at 13139 State Rt. 12.
“The 4th on the 3rd Celebration” will be all day at Wiles Park in Fort Plain – fireworks will be at 9:45 p.m.
THURSDAY, JULY 4
The parade will step off at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks at dusk.
The town of Springfield will host fireworks at Glimmerglass State Park in Cooperstown, located at 1527 County Highway 31. There will be music at 7:30 p.m. on the beach, and then fireworks will start at dark.
The Fourth of July celebration in Old Forge begins at 7:30 p.m., at the Lakefront with a free concert performance of the Floyd Community Instrumental Ensemble. Fireworks will follow over the Old Forge Pond.
Utica’s annual Independence Day Parade kicks off at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 4, the parade will begin on Genesee Street in front of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in South Utica. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at F.T. Proctor Park there will be a “Party in the Park,” where there will be food and beverages, bounce houses, Knockerball, music by "Last Left" and a spectacular fireworks show.
Vernon Downs Casino Hotel will have live racing with post time at 6:10 p.m., with fireworks following the races.
There will be live music by Jamie Notarthomas at 7:30 p.m. at Arrowhead Park, located 160 Route 28 in Inlet. That will be followed by fireworks over Fourth Lake starting at dusk.
FRIDAY, JULY 5
Fireworks will be at 9:50 p.m. over Canadarago Lake in Richfield Springs.
*The city of Rome will have fireworks at the Honor America Day celebration on July 27, and before that for Law Enforcement Day on July 17.
