LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. – Little Falls police have made an arrest after officers were called to the Little Falls Hospital last month when a gunshot victim arrived to the emergency room.
Police say the 23-year-old victim was shot on East Monroe Street around 2 a.m. on Nov. 23.
After an investigation, Quintin Palumbo, 20, of Little Falls, was arrested on Dec. 8, and charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm.
Palumbo was arraigned and is being held at the Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
The victim was released from the hospital and is continuing to recover from his injuries, according to police.
