NORTH UTICA N.Y.- Coronavirus has put a halt on many music gigs both locally and nationally.
One local band is looking forward to getting back out there!
The Steve Falvo Easy Money Big Band held a rehearsal in the driveway of their Headquarters on Cedarbrook Crescent in North Utica Thursday evening.
The Band has been around for over 10 years.
The Band has some good news to share, and it's that they are planning on holding a performance in a couple weeks!
NEWSChannel 2 spoke with the Band's director Carol Kaminski, who says this has been a tough summer because of COVID-19, and they're excited for their upcoming performance.
"We had to cancel weddings, we had to cancel graduation parties we were booked for, we had to cancel summer concerts that are free in the city that people love to hear our music and talk. It's been really difficult losing everybody." said Kaminski.
Despite all the cancellations mentioned, the performance the band is waiting for is scheduled for Wednesday July 15th in Sylvan Beach.
It will be at the Gazebo there in Sylvan Beach from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. that night.
