Washington, D.C. - One of the people inside the White House Thursday night when President Trump accepts his party's nomination is from our area.
Local Trump rally organizer Jim Zecca is in Washington getting ready for the big event.
Zecca says a number of citizens that have supported the president were placed in a lottery and he was one of a few chosen to represent upstate New York.
Zecca says he was told there are four citizen representatives from each state that will be attending.
He also says he has seen workers boarding up buildings around the White House to prevent any damage from potential protesters.
