UTICA- Tabernacle Baptist Church in Utica welcomed a new pastor on Sunday.
Reverend Debbie Kelsey is the new pastor at the church. People with the church said Rev. Kelsey brings a wealth of experience to the church. She served as a missionary with International Ministries of American Baptist Churches USA in Italy and in Belgium working with immigrants.
She most recently served as interim pastor in Adams and Jamesville NY.
Rev. Kelsey said she's honored to be a part of the church and excited to give back to the community.
The community was invited to welcome Rev. Kelsey on Sunday.
