HERKIMER, NY – If you’re one of those people who doesn’t like to put off holiday shopping to the last minute, there were plenty of craft fairs Saturday to satisfy your early shopping needs.
One of those craft fairs was the 7th annual Holiday Craft Fair at the Herkimer High School.
Over 90 vendors were on hand displaying their unique handmade items.
Interested shoppers could find everything from scarfs and bandanas for their pets to jams and jellies for their toast.
Natalie Massita, the craft show’s coordinator, says the money raised will go to HALO.
HALO stands for Helping Animals Live Organization.
“The money can be used for a number of things. Food and medication for the cats, they need their vet visits, all HALO cats are spayed and neutered. There are a number of things.”
HALO currently has approximately 65 cats, living cage-free in a two-story house in Little Falls, that are looking for their fur-ever homes.
