WKTV Meteorologist Jill Reale spoke at a career program at the Frankfort-Schuyler Junior/Senior High School Tuesday morning, and of course there were a lot of questions about whether students would have school on Wednesday.

The Genesis Group organized the event to give the middle school kids insight into different career paths. Some other speakers at the event included Kristy Nole from First Source Federal Credit Union talking about marketing, Maria Smith from Project Fibonacci with a drone and talking about STEM careers, and Dr. Mark Montgomery from MVCC gave a motivational speech.

"We want them to be happy in life,” said Ray Durso, executive director of the Genesis Group. “So, knowing that you can go to even college and change your major halfway through is not a problem. So, offering those words of wisdom and important information about what we did with our careers and our experience, is very helpful to hand out to these students today."

The Genesis Group will host other events like this one at different schools throughout the year.
