Local representatives call for community support in Kraft Hockeyville contest

The Clinton Arena is one of four finalists in the Kraft Hockeyville competition.

Clinton, N.Y. - Senator Joe Griffo (R) 47th district, and Senator David Valesky (D) 53rd district, were at the Clinton Arena on Tuesday, in order to seek the communities help in voting for the historic rink for the Kraft Hockeyville contest.

The competition, held yearly, involves four finalists competing to win $150,000 in renovations and the right to host an NHL preseason game.

The Clinton Arena is going up against rinks from Brandon, SD; Middlebury, VT; and Shreveport, LA.

Voting for the competition begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, April 13 and concludes on Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m.

Two votes are allowed per person.
