MOHAWK, NY – Mohawk Valley Ambulance Corps has a new Chief of Operations.
Donald Kane Jr.

Kane is a New York state-certified paramedic with over 20 years of experience.
He also has 16 years of experience as a flight paramedic and was instrumental in developing a local medevac helicopter transport program for the Mohawk Valley region.
Greg Eisenhut, the president of MOVAC is confident the new COO can face the challenges ahead of him.
“The general public is not aware of the challenges we face as an ambulance service because of the low reimbursements we get from most of our patients who are on Medicaid and Medicare. We need to buy ambulances. We need to buy medical equipment and supplies and pay our people a living wage and it’s very difficult to do that.”
Eisenhut says Kane will handle staffing and medical issues for the ambulance service.
