UTICA, N.Y. -- Mohawk Valley Community College and SUNY Poly have teamed up to get more bachelor degrees in the hands of students in the Mohawk Valley.
The area ranks low in New York state for the number of four-year degrees awarded.
The official agreement was signed Friday at MVCC's Thincubator by President Randall VanWagoner and SUNY Poly’s Interim President Grace Wang.
The "Path to Poly" will create a direct pathway for MVCC graduates to SUNY Poly to get their four-year degrees, and will take out any guessing and uncertainty for students.
The program will start this fall, and in addition to the new path to poly program, there is already a dual admissions program for students in other subject areas.
