UTICA, N.Y. – Mohawk Valley Community College is looking for artwork from local students as part of its annual High School Exhibition.
The exhibit will feature two-dimensional work from high school seniors. Pieces created the students’ junior year will still be accepted.
The exhibition is juried, with the first-place winner receiving the Francis A. Wilcox Memorial Presidential Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship to MVCC. Second-place will receive $500, and third-place will receive $250. Winners will be announced in December.
The deadline for submission is Friday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. Artwork can be dropped off at the School of Art office in Academic Building room 202 at MVCC’s Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Dr. Please include a label with name, school, and instructor, as well as the medium used to create the piece.
