Are you ready to help stomp out cancer?
Today is the Mohawk Valley Health System’s Stomp Out Cancer Telethon, and every donation – no matter how big or small – makes a difference.
Funds raised from the telethon will support the Outpatient Infusion Unit and the Breast Care Center, and they will help create two special rooms for cancer patients who have been placed on comfort care within the Mohawk Valley Health System. The rooms will be designed with healing, comfort and peace in mind, both for the patients and for their families. This will allow the MVHS to focus more on the whole person, not just their cancer diagnosis.
New to the telethon this year is online donations. To make an online donation using a debit or credit card, click here.
The phone lines will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and all you have to do is call 315-624-6464 to make a donation.
WKTV will have live coverage of the telethon beginning at 12 p.m. on NBC, and you can watch the last hour of the telethon on CBS Utica from 7-8 p.m.
