UTICA, N.Y. – Mohawk Valley Health System is implementing visitor restrictions to help avoid coronavirus outbreaks at its facilities.
The restrictions apply to St. Luke’s and St. Elizabeth hospitals.
According to MVHS, one visitor will be allowed per patient with a two-hour limit to each visit, and children under 14 are prohibited from entering in-patient areas.
The MVHS Rehabilitation and Nursing Center located at the Center for Rehabilitation and Continuing Care Services, St. Luke’s Campus, 1650 Champlin Ave., Utica, is restricting all visitors until further notice. Families of residents have been notified of the restrictions.
Health officials at MVHS ask that people do not visit their facilities if they have respiratory illnesses.
