LENOX, N.Y. – An Oneida man has been arrested after allegedly raping a girl under the age of 17 in Madison County.
Danny W. Britton Jr., 34, was charged with first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, Britton is accused of forcibly raping the girl sometime in July.
He was arraigned in Town of Lenox Court and is being held on bail bond.
The victim has received support services from the Madison County Children’s Advocacy Center and county protective services.
