A Jefferson County man is accused of pulling out a gun during a road rage incident in the town of Webb on Sunday. Police say there were also two children in the car at the time.
Just after noon, someone called Herkimer County 911 saying a driver had pointed a handgun at their vehicle on Route 28 in the town of Webb.
Police found the suspected vehicle on Moose River Road in the town of Lyonsdale shortly after, and followed it until a backup unit arrived. A traffic stop was then conducted on State Route 12 in Port Leyden.
Police arrested the driver, 21-year-old Chase K. O’Brien, around 12:45 p.m. He was charged with second-degree menacing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
