OLD FORGE, N.Y. -- A Bridgeport man has been arrested after police say he allegedly crashed his snowmobile in Old Forge. Town of Webb police say he was drinking alcohol before the crash.
Police charged Matthew Hulsizer, 36, of Bridgeport, with snowmobiling while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a snowmobile on a state highway and refusing a preliminary breath test.
It happened on Saturday, Dec. 21, as he was leaving Old Forge.
Authorities say Hulsizer had a BAC over .08. He allegedly hit several guiderails while leaving Old Forge on the highway.
Hulsizer will appear in the Town of Webb court at a later date.
