Utica, N.Y. - Utica Police say they were called to the intersection of Seymour Avenue and James Street around 12:30 Monday morning for the report that a man had been shot.
Police say officers found a man seated inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, then transferred to a Syracuse hospital.
No word on his condition.
The victim's name is not being released.
