ROME- Rome Police are asking for the public's help after a man was shot multiple times in Rome.
Police say they were called to West Park Street around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning after multiple reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, officers found a male victim with wounds to his shoulder and head.
They tells us the victim was uncooperative with investigating officers and was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he's in stable condition.
They believe his injuries are non-lifethreatening.
Police say there was a semi-automatic rifle which has not been recovered.
The shooting is under investigation.
