A man who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two children in Sylvan Beach has been sentenced to prison time, according to the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office.
Travis True, 24, has been sentenced to five years in state prison followed by 15 years of post-release supervision. An order of protection has also been issued.
Back in June, True pleaded guilty to felony first-degree sexual abuse. He was arrested in May and charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse for having sexual contact with two female children under the age of 11 in Sylvan Beach in Nov. 2017.
