Marine Corps League in Ilion appreciates support for Veterans

The league will provide free food to Veterans on Veterans Day

ILION, N.Y.- With Veterans Day a few days away, the Marine Corps League in Ilion appreciates all the support.

The league has sent out boxes of care packages from the community that were sent overseas to support Dan Crim and his deployment.

They continue to support veterans weather they are in action now or not.

Edmond Lapointe, the Club Manager of the Marine Corps League says they will provide free food for Veterans on Monday November 11th at the league.

"We’re going to do a goulash special here for any veterans they are welcome to get something to eat, a lunch, salad, and dinner. And other than that Veterans Day means a lot to all of us we had a Marine Corps birthdays this Sunday, and Vetrans Day is Monday.” says LaPointe.

The league is located at 178 Second Street in Ilion.
