OTTER LAKE, N.Y. -- Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire in Forestport on Otter Lake on Tuesday evening, and worked for 10 hours to put out the flames.
The call came in just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Multiple crews responded to a fully involved structure fire on Ager Lane.

The Otter Lake fire chief says a man was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Extra tankers had to be called in from neighboring fire departments to help bring water to the scene.
The American Red Cross is assisting the man, who is also eligible for veteran services.
