Cooler weather moves in this weekend. A cold front exited the region
Friday afternoon with breezy winds and cooler air behind it. A high pressure
system will slowly moves towards us this weekend, with North winds a head of
it. These North winds will pump cooler air down from Canada for Saturday and
Sunday. Eventually, this high pressure system will move on top of us for the
start of the week with nearly calm winds and back to normal temperatures. It
will also bring dry weather for the next 5 days.
Friday night, mostly clear skies will help temperatures quickly sink into the
mid 40s and even the 30s in the higher elevations of the North Country.
Saturday, cooler weather stick around as highs struggle to reach the mid 60s
by the afternoon. It will be beautiful weather for outdoor activities with
partly sunny skies. Chilly again Saturday night as lows sink into the mid
Sunday will be a little warmer. Highs will reach the lower 70s by the
afternoon with partly cloudy skies. Overnight, lows drop to around 50
