"I couldn’t get a vaccine anywhere else, so I was just thrilled to know that you do it here. You’ve made my day."
A patient at Adirondack Internal Medicine & Pediatrics is happy the office is giving out Moderna Vaccinations to the general public. The office ordered vaccines from the State in January and have already received a 2nd shipment. They have around 93 vaccinations left over and are inviting the public to come and get one. Registered Nurse Asima Kajtazovic is hoping the public comes out to get a shot so they don’t go to waste.
"Since we got them late, there are many patients that are vaccinated already, so we are just making aware that the public can get it. Anyone age 30 qualifies, no matter… you know …they don’t need a health diagnosis for it, and starting next week we can administer them to 16 and above."
You do need to complete a survey form online before making an appointment.
"This just asks for you know name, date of birth, if public facing essential employee, if they have any health problems. Even if they don’t if they’re like I said 30 and above they qualify. They can answer no to those and just submit it."
Anyone qualified to receive a vaccination can call the office at (315) 235-1043. Same day appointments are available.
