A new crime series will be featuring the story of Dr. Mary Yoder, a chiropractor who was killed in Sauquoit in 2015. The Sundance TV show “True Crime Story: It Couldn’t Happen Here” will air the Yoder episode at 10 p.m.
Following a mistrial, Kaitlyn Conley was tried a second time and convicted of fatally poisoning Yoder, who was her boss in 2015. Conley also dated Yoder’s son.
Conley was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 23 years in prison.
Conley appealed her conviction, but the court's decision was unanimously affirmed in March of 2021.
Sundance TV is channel 625 on Spectrum cable.
