ALBANY, N.Y. – During his press conference Thursday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the Mohawk Valley and four other regions are cleared to move to Phase 3 of reopening on Friday, June 12.
Food and personal care services are slated to reopen in Phase 3, including businesses like nail salons, spas and tattoo parlors.
Restaurants will also be able to open for indoor dining, as long as mandatory safety guidelines are in place.
Central New York, the Southern Tier, the Finger Lakes and the North Country regions will also move to Phase 3 Friday.

Every region in the state is currently in Phase 2, other than New York City, which entered Phase 1 on Monday.
