MOHAWK, NY – Scout pack/troop 25 of Mohawk held a spaghetti dinner fundraiser Saturday.
The dinners were available for takeout only at the Mohawk Legion on Main Street in the village.
They included angel hair pasta, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, a drink, and dessert. All for only $12.
Bradford Roberts, Pack/Troop 25 Committee Chairman, says the money raised will help support the Scouts summer camping program.
"It gives them life skills of camping outdoors. It gives them skills like cooking over an open fire, how to tie different knots, be pioneers, and work on their knife handling. Basically scouting is a great life lesson for any young boy or girl that wants to learn."
The Scouts are planning other fundraisers in the upcoming months, including a pancake breakfast in April.
